Power Dynamics Watertight and Splash-Proof Pin & Sleeve Connectors Maintain Reliability in All Types of Industrial Applications
December 6, 2016 - New Yorker Electronics has expanded its inventory of industrial Pin & Sleeve Connectors by stocking the entire Power Dynamics, Inc. (PDI) IEC 60309 line of connectors, plugs, inlets and receptacles. This heavy duty connector series is made of rugged thermoplastic housing to resist impact or abuse and provide excellent corrosion resistance.
Designed for heavy duty industrial use, watertight IP67 and splash-proof IP 44 versions are available and all connectors carry applicable safety agency approvals. They are made of durable Valox® and carry the highest available impact rating of IK10(20J).
The series is approved for use in North America and Europe/International applications. North American ratings are available in 20, 30, 60 and 100 amps; international ratings are available in 16, 32, 63 & 125 amps. A unique cable strain relief grip and sealing system assures superior cable retention and watertight conductor termination. The connectors are made of corrosion-proof Nickel plated brass pins and come in 3-, 4- and 5-wire assemblies.
The PDI Pin & Sleeve series is color coded and keyed to ensure correct mate-ability and feature a unique Snap-on handle locking and cable grip system assembly that increases connection speed up to 75-percent.
Because of their durability, water resistance and ease of use, they are used in a wide range of industrial applications including amusement parks, open markets, factories and warehouses, agricultural equipment, campgrounds, even cold-storage ship containers.
New Yorker Electronics supplies Power Dynamics interconnect and power products, EMI/RFI filters, IEC 60320 inlets and outlets, battery holders, IEC 60309 pin and sleeve assemblies, motor disconnects and various board level connectors and stocks the HEC3 Harsh Environment Connector Series.
