Exxelia Technologies, formerly Eurofarad, was incorporated in 1965. Its core business was the design and manufacture of complex passive components and precision subsystems such as ceramic, plastic film and mica capacitors, filters, position sensors, slip rings and precision mechanics. Between 1965 and 1992, Eurofarad grew through 14 acquisitions and became Exxelia Technologies in 2015. It has two different manufacturing facilities: Chanteloup-en-Brie on the east side of Paris produces film and ceramic capacitors, filters, sensors and associated systems while Marmoutier, in Alsace, eastern France, develops film capacitors, filters, sensors, associated systems and precision mechanics.
As a franchise distributor, New Yorker Electronics supplies products from Exxelia Technologies of the Exxelia Group and its full line of Film, Mica, Tantalum, Aluminum Electrolytics and Ceramic Capacitors as well as its EMI/RFI Filters, Magnetics, Position Sensors, Slip Rings and Rotary Joints.
