Vamistor is a manufacturer of resistors, more specifically carbon film resistors and military qualified RL42 resistors. Vamistor's holding company, Electro Technik (ETI), operates various subsidiaries in the passive electronic components industry including custom magnetics, microwave, resistors, and now, wound film capacitors. Over time, the Vamistor carbon film resistor line was been combined with that of the Tepro Corporation, another ETI subsidiary, and both companies consolidated into Tepro-Vamistor. Their specialty remains wirewound precision resistors and wirewound power resistors, and quality is still their focus and obsession.
